Funeral Date:

Mrs. Faye E. Faulk went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2018.  She was 78.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time. 

 

Faye was born December 5, 1939, in Georgia.  She worked for the Enterprise Ledger for 28 years and was also a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed caring for birds.  She loved her family and especially delighted in her grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Colbert Ashurst and Nellie Bryson Ashurst, and a sister, Jane Bland.

 

Survivors include her husband, Franklin Faulk of Enterprise; two sons: Michael Faulk (Shirley) of Jesup, GA, and Tim Faulk (Yvonne) of Austin, TX; sister, Pat Bagley of Enterprise; two grandchildren: Rachel Hanna Faulk and Rayna Heather Faulk; several nieces and nephews.

To Frank, Mike, and Tim, Trudy and I extend our deepest sympathies to you all during this time of loss. It is a tough time for you guys but I know you have great memories to give you strength. Aunt Faye was the shining light for many that new her. My prayers for Uncle Droop, Tim and Mike for their loss. Also for my Mom, Pat Bagley (sister). Love you Aunt Faye.
